Simeon Sturney is a Through The Gate Chaplain at HMP Bronzefield, and also an Empowerment Worker supporting women as they leave prison.
Having worked eighteen years working in Western Europe's largest women's prison, Simeon has held positions in the Probation team and is a former Managing Chaplain. Now a Through The Gate Chaplain part-time, and Empowerment Worker part-time where he supports two women who have left prison to live in a house jointly managed with a local church, a national housing charity and the local prison. He is also the author of 'One Mile To Make A Difference' which is part biographical as well as telling how it really is for some women as they leave prison, drawing on many years of walking alongside women as they leave the prison and head towards the train station.
